Middlesex County Badminton Juniors
The Junior County Committee entered 3 age group teams (Under 12, 14 & 16's teams) in the ‘Shires’ League for the 2025-29 Season. We intend to enter more age group teams in future years so that the senior county teams will have more players developing over the next few years.
There are normally 5-6 matches per season for each team against geographically close counties and with a final weekend in Nottingham for the top teams nationally. I
Most squad practice and coaching sessions, using Badminton England Qualified coaches take place at the Dome on Sunday mornings 2pm-5pm. We will be entering more age groups next season to expand Junior badminton in the county.
We also have more coaching near to Westfields (St Charles) in west London from time to time.
Cost is around £18 per session / match, and is supported by the County.
If you are a parent, teacher or coach, and you think a child has the potential, character, skills and enthusiasm to represent the county at badminton, then please contact Ann Fan [email protected] with a view to turning up at the Dome on a particular Sunday at 2pm
If you don't think the child hasn't yet achieved sufficient skill, but has the enthusiasm and character, them we suggest that they should join a local junior badminton club. There are several at the Dome and others can be found on the Middlesex County Website
