*The Dome is a members club that welcomes new players
and members of the public new to the sport of badminton.
With some of the best quality courts in the South of England,
The Dome is proud to offer six nationally rated, sprung maple courts that 
are there to give you an exceptional playing experience and
be more gentle on your joints so you can play for longer. 

Your first entry to the club in a group is complimentary (court fees are still payable).
(NB this does NOT apply to mid-week 'Feelgood' sessions where a minimum fee applies).
Subsequent visits incur a visitor's fee of £4 or you can take out an
​annual membership for £21. 

Currently the one-off membership for 12 months
costs only £21 (not per month, per annum)!

Benefits of becoming a member:
* No visitor's fee & faster entry
* No time wasted taking down or setting up compared to other venues
* Ability to book courts online 9 days in advance
* Block booking - most venues do not offer block booking and it gives you the
   ability to start your own club/group and secure courts for 3 months at a time
* Join a pay and play session (Feel Good Fridays 10am - 12noon (£6).
* Online profile and personalised barcode
* Join Social and league clubs  that may be looking for players
(please note, clubs are organised independently from the Dome
and have their own price structure that covers
court fees and usually shuttles too)
* Off peak rate £10.45 per court per hour (£10 if you become a club/group organiser and place and pay for a regular booking up-front).
* Use our lounge area to spectate, watch tournaments, socialise and make friends, enjoy tea and coffee!
* Ability to participate in the management of the Dome - join the Committee and vote at Meetings (T&C's apply)

Court fees
Please note, as well as the visitor's fee or membership fee, 
​court fees still apply - £15.50 at peak hours and only £10.45 at off peak hours.

Free entry upon your first visit, after which a £4 visitor's fee applies until 
you take out a membership!

Try out for a club
If you want to try out for one of our clubs, please click here 
to learn more about them. They organise themselves separately from the 
Dome, charge their own fees and in turn cover the cost of courts
and generally provide shuttles, so the only equipment you need 
to bring are your racket and non-marking badminton shoes. 

(We may be able to help you with our badminton shoe and racket hire
depending on what sizes we have available at the time)


Equipment Hire and Sale
If you are not sure whether badminton is for you just yet, we hire both
rackets and shoes at the Dome. £5 each/session or £7.50 for both. 
In addition, we sell Apacs badminton shoes at the Dome (£40).
